Your role
During your first six months, you will be onboarded as Operations Manager in Vilvoorde.
You will be responsible for the day to day management of our Operations back office, ensuring smooth, efficient and high quality operations from vehicle intake to customer delivery. You will manage several departments and work closely with the supervisors of the internal logistics and car wash teams. In total, you will lead approximately 25 employees and an average of 20 to 25 drivers. You act as the key link between our Customer Care front office and Operations back office.
You will manage several operational teams, including:
- Car wash and related services such as charging, refuelling and PDI activities
- Technical department
- Internal logistics and parking
- Logistics reception
- External transport partners and drivers
You oversee the flow, quality, safety and productivity of the site, ensuring customers receive a flawless service.
What will you do?
- Manage the site's daily operations
- Lead, coach and motivate supervisors, planners and operational teams
- Optimise processes and improve efficiency
- Monitor KPIs related to lead times, quality and volumes
- Work closely with Customer Care and other internal departments
- Ensure a safe, structured and high performing work environment
- Analyse issues quickly and take solution oriented action
- Achieve operational performance targets
After six months, you will progress to full Site Manager responsibility for the Vilvoorde site, including:
- Operations – backoffice
- Customer Care – front office
- Delivery
- Damage inspection
Additional responsibilities as Site Manager:
- Facility: security, maintenance and safety
- Performance: P&L and Budget follow up
- Internal and external KPI monitoring, including customer service indicators
- Execution of digitalisation projects
Who are we looking for?
- Experience in operations, logistics, customer service and/or site management
- Strong people manager with natural leadership skills
- Organised and stress resistant
- Strong analytical skills with experience in P&L and budget management
- Flexibility is one of your strengths
- Hands on mentality: you lead by example and support operations when needed
- Customer focused, commercially minded and results driven
- Able to build structures and maintain efficient processes
- Affinity with automotive or fleet management is a strong advantage
